During a recent parasite infection, I ran out of colostrum and Lactoferrin, resulting in awful stomach symptoms. After ordering more, the painful ache and bloating subsided significantly within days. I've read that parasites thrive on excess iron in the body, but lactoferrin effectively binds it, preventing oxidative stress and starving the parasites. I was taking iron for anaemia and developed symptoms of an intestinal yeast infection. I found that yeast thrives on iron, so lactoferrin binds with it, making iron unavailable to yeast while transporting it into my cells where it's needed. Thank you, iHerb, for this product and excellent service at a reasonable price.

I bought this product when the Life-Extension brand was unavailable. I take it to limit the availability of iron for the recurring urinary tract infections I suffer from. Now, I take it alongside iron supplements, as it aids iron absorption, which has helped with shortness of breath and somewhat with sleep issues.

Gut health support
Lactoferrin is effective for bacterial overgrowth in the bowels. It's best taken with a biofilm eater, but not simultaneously and always on an empty stomach, one hour before antibiotics.
